Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-06-01. These terms govern your use of Wire.

By creating an account on openwire.sh you agree to these terms. Wire is operated by Anakin, Inc. (“Anakin”). If you use Wire on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, your API keys, and all activity under them. Keep your keys secret and rotate them if you suspect exposure.

2. The service

Wire is a managed REST layer that wraps third-party websites with stable, typed endpoints. You retain ownership of the data you fetch. Anakin retains ownership of the catalog, the engine, and the aggregated telemetry needed to keep the service reliable. We may add, change, or deprecate actions; we will give reasonable notice before removing actions you actively use.

3. Acceptable use

You will not use Wire to violate the terms of the upstream sites it interacts with, scrape personal data without lawful basis, or build products that target individuals for harassment. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list, which is incorporated into these terms.

4. Credits, billing, and refunds

Credits are the unit of consumption. Each action lists its per-call cost in the Catalog. Failed calls are not billed. Credits do not expire while your account is active. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Identities and credentials

If you save a credential (cookies, OAuth tokens, API keys) we encrypt it at rest with AES-256-GCM. You represent that you are entitled to use any credential you save and to access the accounts it unlocks. You can revoke an identity at any time; subsequent calls will fail rather than use a stale credential.

6. Intellectual property

The Wire platform, catalog, documentation, and brand are owned by Anakin and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use them to access the service. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform itself.

7. Service levels

We target 99.95% monthly uptime on paid tiers. Scheduled maintenance, force-majeure events, and upstream-site outages are excluded. Service-credit remedies, where offered, are set out in your plan.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the AUP, and we will give you notice and a reasonable window to export data unless ongoing use poses a security or legal risk.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Wire is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anakin is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Anakin against third-party claims arising from your use of Wire in breach of these terms, the AUP, or applicable law.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-product or by email and take effect on the date posted.
